The Video Library

The Jewish Heritage Video Collection
is designed to be housed at institutions such as Jewish community centers and synagogues, public libraries and universities, where members can borrow the tapes for viewing at home.

The video library of the JHVC enlists the potential of modern technology to bring media resources into the home. It brings together a carefully selected group of films and television programs — including features and documentaries, American and foreign productions — with significant Jewish content and interest.

For detailed information on the videos, select a category from the list at the left, or look for a title using the search box below.

Not every JHVC site has all the videos detailed in the Video Library. All sites have the core collection of about 190 tapes; some sites have acquired one or more of the "bonus packs" that have been offered to update the core collection. Please communicate with your local JHVC site to learn which films they have. For information on acquiring specific videos, please contact the distributors whose names appear at the bottom of each film description.
